POLICE RESPOND TO BARRICADED SUBJECT IN TOWN OF CLINTON

Hunterdon County Acting Prosecutor Michael J. Williams, Chief of Detectives Frank R. Crisologo, and Town of Clinton Police Chief Cory Kubinak announced that a standoff with a barricaded subject has been safely resolved. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office SWAT Team, Town of Clinton Police Department, and the Clinton Township Police Department responded to a Clinton residence for a barricaded subject earlier this evening. The subject was taken into custody without incident at approximately 9:15pm. According to Acting Prosecutor Williams, "I would like to commend Chief Kubinak, the Town of Clinton Police Department, Clinton Township Police Department, and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office SWAT team. The officers and the SWAT team that responded today train vigorously for situations like this. Their level of competency and commitment to their profession directly led to bringing the individual into custody without further incident or injury."
